We can now detect decay with caries indicating die.

-Laser Dentistry 2
With the die, bacteria is observable when it was not before. Now we can know for sure that we have not left any live bacteria in the tooth. Note the bacteria that is still in the tooth. Once all of it is removed this makes the life our restoration much more predictable.

-Laser Dentistry 3
This tooth had a sealant that looked good except that it stained when the die was applied at the hygiene appointment. Note the decay! If the die had been used when the sealant was placed we might have had a tooth that looked like the tooth above instead of the picture of this tooth below.

-Laser Dentistry 4
This tooth is almost excavated and almost in the nerve! The great thing here is the fact that using the laser we have most of the tooth still intact. If we had used the bur we would have had to numb the tooth and we would have destroyed much more tooth structure!

-Laser Dentistry 5
Restored tooth with posterior composite

-Case 4
Preoperative retracted smile

-Case 4 post operative retracted
One side and the front has been completed here. This allows you to see what changes can be quite evident by creating proper contours with the teeth.

-case 4 before face

-case 4 post operative face
Note the way her teeth fill the entire smile space.

Click on any of these pictures for an enlargement.

-Case 5 Before retracted
This case involved problems that were not only on the top teeth but also the bottom teeth. Note the old bridge with the margins showing and the way the top teeth are worn as well as out of proportion.

Click on the photos to see the enlarged photograph

-Case 5 Post Operative Retracted
Note the way that the new crowns and bridge is now proportional as well as how it looks like the teeth are just growing out of the gum tissue.

-Case 6
This is a case where we used optical illusion to make things look like they matched where they were really out of proportion

-Case 6 after

-Case 6
As you can see we addressed color, length, and proportion in this case. We also helped the patient to see how he could have a positive impact on the health and longevity of these restorations by taking the best care of his gum tissue.

-case 6
Click any of these small photographs to your right and another web browser will open up and you will be able to see a much larger photograph of these photographs.

-Laser Dentistry and Aesthetics
Using the laser we can make significant aesthetic changes. Note the next 3 photographs and changes made in each.

-1 week post op photograph
Note the way the gummy smile was able to be changed with the laser.

-Laser Aesthetics
This case was completed and we were able to give the full smile and have comfort with the stability of the tissue immediately

-Laser gum sculpting and veneers before
This patient was unhappy with the way her teeth looked.

-Laser gum sculpting and veneers after
By reshaping the patients gums with the laser and obtaining the proper proportions with veneers the patient now is much happier with her smile!

-Laser gum sculpting and veneers before face
Before we did the laser sculpting of her gums and the veneers the patient did not like to smile

-Laser gum sculpting and veneers after face view
Now the patient loves to show off her smile all the time!
